Kiowa County Mascot Selection Process Set
The USD 422 Board of Education has approved the following process to be used in the selection of a new school mascot. Please forward this to your staff so that they might share the process with students.
Step 1- Suggestions from students, residents and anyone else with a recommendation will be received until March 24th . People are encouraged to not only send in their ideas, but also include info on why it would be a good mascot and possibly a graphic.
Step 2- A committee made up of students and community representatives from Greensburg, Mullinville, and Haviland will then work through all recommendations and select a short list of possible mascots to be submitted to the BOE.
Step 3- From this shortened list, students will then vote to select a winner in April.
