GHS Volleyball Takes Regional Title, Moves On

The Lady Rangers traveled to South Central Tuesday night to try to earn the right to move on to Sub-State play. After a first round bye, the ladies started the night by taking down the Bucklin Lady Aces in three games. This win moved them into the Championship match and assured them a trip to the Sub-State tournament.
The Championship match saw the Lady Rangers step up their play and dominate the Lady Dragons in two games. This championship win allowed Greensburg to earn the number one seed in the Sub-State Tournament with a record of 36-2 and pairs them up with Claflin, who comes in with a record of 28-9. The winner of this game will play the winner of the South Gray (31-6) and South Barber (30-5) match-up.
Greensburg will open Sub-State play at 5:00pm Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Skyline High School.
