The 4th grade class, under the direction of Mrs. Amy Clements, spent the morning of April 25th in a different kind of classroom. Mr. Robert Ellis volunteered to take all 4th graders who reached their reading goal on a helicopter ride. Mr. Ellis is part of the Young Eagles program that helps build interest in flying by giving students rides. Many 4th graders read enough books to reach their reading goal and earn their chance to fly. It was also a chance for students to learn just a little bit more about weather and air pressure.  Thank you, Mr. Ellis, for sharing your passion of flying with our 4th grade students.  It will be a day that many of the 4th graders will never forget.
