At Kiowa County Jr. High, students can join a leadership training organization called Impact.  Within this group, students are assigned to one of 6 committees.  During the school year, each committee is responsible for planning events and activities that center around our Big Idea--a value word for the month.  In November, the Video Production committee hosted a breakfast to celebrate their value word of the month--gratitude.  Students prepared breakfast for their peers and teachers and invited some special guests who were honored at the Gratitude Breakfast.  Martha Torres, KCJH custodian, was honored for her cheerful disposition and the way she takes pride in her work.  Mrs. Price, KCJH teacher, was honored for the way she helps students and has helped coach over the years.  Mrs. Audrey Pore, KCJH Math teacher, was honored for her teaching, coaching, and Impact sponsorship duties.  Ki Gamble, Kiowa County Board of Education president, was honored for his service on several community boards including school board and Twilight Theater board.  And finally, Grant Neuhold, Kiowa County Media Center Creative Director, was honored for his work with the Impact Video Production group.  Following is a video from that breakfast.
