On Thursday, January 29th, the Kindergarten through 4th grade classes at Kiowa County Elementary School made a trip to the Kiowa County Historical Museum to learn a little more about Kansas on its 154th birthday. Katie Ritter, along with the help of KCHS Forensics students, put together a living history lesson for the students. Dressing in costume, they presented some of the local history of Kiowa County as if they were that person. Everyone involved with putting on the program did an outstanding job, and the students and staff in attendance were able to learn, first hand, about the history of Kiowa County. Thank you to the Kiowa County Historical Museum for putting on such an outstanding event for our Elementary students!
