KCJH 6th/7th Band Visits the Preschool Class
The 6th and 7th grade Band students have been learning about arranging songs this semester. So they took "Frosty the Snowman" and made it their own!
We first incorporated body percussion and louds and quiets to make the song more interesting. After that, the kids used instruments around the room to create even more unique aspects. Some students used buckets that were passed around a circle to create fun sounds, while others used cymbals!
The students then made their own versions of Frosty the Snowman using paper, just like they made their own version of the song.
On Tuesday, December 16th, the 6/7 grade band students then went to the Preschool classroom and performed the piece they had arranged! The students then got into groups and helped the Preschool students make their own frosty the snow men.
