County Boards Make Cooperative Agreement Final

    When the 2010-2011 school year begins, the GHS Rangers and HHS Dragons will no longer be. Both USD 474 and USD 422 boards voted February 8, 2010 to enter into a 2-year cooperative agreement that will begin the fall of 2010. 

    The agreement will essentially send county high school students to Greensburg for classes. USD 474 and USD 422 school districts will maintain K-8th grade systems.

    The USD 422 board voted unanimously to name the new school Kiowa County High School. They also voted unanimously to adopt burnt orange and white as the colors for the new county school.
